Directed Andrew Petrie with musical direction by Roger Jabbour, stage direction by Sharon Keller and choreography by Julia Sauvé, "Shrek the musical" features 85 of Colonel Gray's talented and hard-working students and will take the stage at the Homburg Theatre for the very first time. "Shrek the Musical" is a wonderful show that promotes discussion and learning around issues of self esteem, self-image, bullying and acceptance of differences.
The creative team also includes Katelyn Kennedy (assistant director), Rory O'Donnell (vocal coach), Jessica Shepperd and Hadley Sealy (scene design), Corrine Chappell and Deborah Hutchings (costume design), and Jackie Cutcliffe (stage make-up artist).
Colonel Gray High School has been producing musicals since 1968. The school's mission is to provide an opportunity for students to develop and polish their artistic talents. We would like to thank the Island community for the continued support of our students.
